Please be reminded that these installers are only meant for WDMyCloud single drive variant (firmware V4 and above), not Mirror/EX2/EX4 as I do not have those other devices to support them.   1. For those who’s following this post, a new APP has been added to the installer, SickRage v4.0.29 for firmware V4. Video File Manager for TV Shows, It watches for new episodes of your favorite shows and when they are posted it does its magic.

  3. For those who’s following this post, a new APP has been added to the installer, CouchPotato v2.6.3 for firmware V4. Download movies automatically, easily and in the best quality as soon as they are available.

    Do you have any idea how to update TwonkyServer? I already did on my WD MBL but on MyCloud I do not find any tutorial.

    1. Twonky is also another closed source code. We can’t build for 64k pagesize memory.

  7. Hi Nazar,
    When running nzbget I get the following error:
    Unrar: could not start unrar: no such file or directory

    Any ideas?

    1. You’ll need unrar. I didn’t include it because I didn’t see it stated in the requirements but you can get it from a user’s repo in WD forum nick Fox_exe.

        1. There’s instructions on his first post. After completing that, just do the apt-get install. It’s very easy.

  8. Hi Nazar

    I have tried to install Transmission via the online guide but is not downloading saying there was a Network lag? so i tried 3 more times then i got this error
    Error-1: You have been banned for x3 strikes of invalid request! Try again after Wed Jul 15 18:27:39 BST 2015.

    1. Hi Riz,

      Please try again later perhaps half a day later. I’m using the WDMyCloud now for some other purposes which could contribute to the lag. Don’t worry the ban is only temporary 1hr.

  9. Hi Nazar

    I have tried the online install of transmission but i keep on getting a error saying theres a network lag? I also got now Error-1: You have been banned for x3 strikes of invalid request! Try again after Wed Jul 15 18:27:39 BST 2015.

    Could you help i just upgraded the firmware to v04.01.04-422. Sorry a bit of a newbie

  10. Hi Nazar

    I tried at different times yesterday and today but still keep on getting the following error:

    Error-9: Unable to retrieve required files! Network lag encountered. Try again few hours later.

    Could you tell me the best time to try. Is there any other way I can try to install the transmission on my WD MyCloud?

    1. I checked the trace route to your IP over the EU region and seems it has high pings over 253ms to timeout. I could help you check if you want. Port forward port 22 to your WDMyCloud, temporarily change your root password passwd and send the password to me privately http://teanazar.com/feedback. Or if you have TeamViewer account for me to remote. Let me know, I’m in the GMT+8 zone.
