Please be reminded that these installers are only meant for WDMyCloud single drive variant (firmware V4 and above), not Mirror/EX2/EX4 as I do not have those other devices to support them.     As you there was an update from WD FOR FIRMWARE I HAVE UPDATED IT since i did not knew it will clear installed apps i did not took back up as u recomended in your each post however now i was installing each app from scratch and setting them again but facing issue my wd has become insanely slow heres screen shot of cpu usage when i was try install 1 of ur app and pls suggest something i tried killing transmission still i was not able install due to slow response and my qbittorrent also stop responding to gui and remote app for android

  2. Do you really need two torrent clients running? And is that python from SickRage? Python is a bit heavy for the MyCloud. Depending on your needs, you should use it sparingly maybe schedule a start/stop to run your jobs during off peak periods. I suggest you search the WD forum on how to schedule/remove apps.

    I personally use a manual method with FlexGet; schedule torrent client start at a specific non-peak period, schedule FlexGet to process my RSS, finally exit the torrent client when all done (I don’t need a torrent client running 24/7). I’ve mentioned similar method somewhere in my SickRage post on the WD forum.

    1. Hello friend as per your suggestion i tried searching the forum and just got info that i can do the job via Cron Jobs but never got to the post where i can get info how to set them.
      Can you point me to post where i can learn setting cron job for sickrage activating/killing and if possible can you tell me cron job for post processing too 🙂 as i tend to download some episodes manually or get them from my friends
      However i even tried sickrage for windows too but it failed to the point where it has to do post processing as its not able to find network disk(Nas on wifi network) not even able to do search on Windows sick as no physical torrent client on windows

  3. Hello Nazar,
    the captcha input to get anonymous credentials doesn`t work.
    Is anything wrong with it ? It was work until 2 weeks before.

    1. I just tested and it’s working fine on Chrome latest version. There were also a few successful installations just couple hours back.

      You might not see the captcha if you have a pop-up/advert blocker, so disable them. Refer to the F.A.Q. and watch this video for details.

    Is it possible to host html files on the wd my cloud, and have the website available for other people to visit or access?
    And also, is it possible to host wordpress website on the wd my cloud, and make the website available for other people to visit or access?

        1. Hi Mel,

          Yes my online installers does and only support firmware version 04.xx (the 1st generation MyCloud single bay).

          The wordpress link I posted earlier is the best place to start. Do read it thoroughly. Any questions you can post it in that page or the webhosting mod page. A good tip is to turn off the auto update because any modification will be lost upon firmware upgrade. So it’s best to do the upgrade manually when you have already backup your modifications.

          Depending on your knowledge it could be setup in less than 10mins. Many have used this method and I’ve also helped a few donors to setup and migrate their website to the MyCloud.

    Do you know any solution to use the USB Port with a print Server?

    1. The MyCloud doesn’t have the kernel module compiled to use the USB port as a printer.

    1. No I don’t have Plex running on WD MyCloud. It’s a closed source code software hence we can’t compile them for the firmware V4.
