Please be reminded that these installers are only meant for WDMyCloud single drive variant (firmware V4 and above), not Mirror/EX2/EX4 as I do not have those other devices to support them.     I am not able to see the free credentials even after I wait for the add. I am not opening link on a new tab and I entered directly through WD Forum. After the ad is shown and the page reloads there is no code or credentials.

    Help please.

  3. Hi Nazar, we can still get your credentials to download transmission or right now must donate to do?

    I try to get around 40 times credentials following guide video, and never can type de captcha.

    1. The advertiser made changes which causes issues. You guys need to wait for them to fix it and I don’t know how long it would take.

    1. Donors don’t need captchas 🙂 You should have automatically received the credentials via your PayPal registered email (check spam folders).

    It’s been some days trying to get the credentials, but the issue seems not to be fixed yet. It’s like going in circles all the time (I followed all the instructions with your video).
    My question is: is there an alternative (channel) for getting them?

    1. Hi Maure,

      There’s issues with adfly and I don’t have the time to fix on my side for what they broke. I can’t disable them else I’ll have bot issues. Sorry not sure of the alternatives at the moment.

    i had transmission installed on v.3 firmware and made an update form mistake. now i tried to install a new version from your site but i get this error
    Checking available rootfs space…

    how can i see what is in dev/root so i can erase. it is not normal to be full.

    1. Did you download torrents in /root ? Run this to find large files in the rootfs du -ahx /|grep -E '[0-9]M review then delete them with the rm command.

  8. the transmission client for win10 downloaded in c/root/downloads even if it was set to do it in root/downloads.
    can i reinstall transmission on my wd? if so what should i do? uninstall the current version (if so pls tell me how) or i just reinstall over the previous version?

    1. I’m not sure if the Windows 10 app would work properly so use the webui instead. To revert to the recommended settings, stop the daemon, transmission-stop. Delete the config file rm /root/.config/transmission-daemon/settings.json then run the installer again.
